"Viernes en la Naturaleza" (Fridays in Nature) - Spanish Immersion Summer Camp for Ages 4 to 12

General Introduction:
Bienvenidos a "Viernes en la Naturaleza," our exciting Spanish immersion summer camp tailored for children ages 4 to 12. As we embark on this adventure, our goal is to create a vibrant and immersive environment where young minds can not only enjoy the wonders of nature but also enhance their Spanish language skills.

Group Division:
To ensure age-appropriate activities and engagement, campers will be divided into two groups: "Exploradores Pequeños" (Little Explorers, ages 4 to 7) and "Exploradores Mayores" (Big Explorers, ages 8 to 12). This division allows us to tailor activities to the developmental needs and interests of each age group, ensuring a customized and enriching experience for all participants.

Overview of the Day:

9:30 AM - 10 AM: Arrival and Check-In

  • Warm welcomes and introductions in Spanish
  • Group formation and icebreaker activities to encourage interaction. Introduction to relevant Spanish vocabulary and phrases

10:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Merienda (Snack)

  • Healthy snacks, fostering a social environment where campers can practice Spanish language skills

10:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Exploración y Descubrimiento (Exploration and Discovery)

  • Nature walks, scavenger hunts, and hands-on exploration of the surroundings
  • Spanish-speaking guides introduce campers to local flora and fauna

12:30 PM - 1:00 PM: Almuerzo (Lunch)

  • Nutritious lunch with casual conversation facilitated in Spanish
  • Group discussions about the morning's discoveries

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Descanso y Tiempo Libre (Rest and Free Time)

  • Relaxation, storytelling, or personal exploration time. Opportunities for campers to use Spanish creatively in their chosen activities. Group reflection on the day's experiences. Spanish songs, stories, or a short performance to wrap up the day

For Ages 4 to 7: "Little Ocean Explorers"

Our youngest campers, the "Little Ocean Explorers," will embark on a week filled with wonder and imagination. Through interactive games, creative crafts, and age-appropriate activities, they'll learn about the vibrant life found along the coastline. For Ages 8 to 12: "Coastal Rangers"
